We have a brick oven, perfect for cooking pizzas and other meals. We even host events wher you can take home a pizza!

Boat Launch & Landing

Anytime during your outing, drop your canoe in at Durand and float back to our landing.

Family and Group Camp

Our expansive grounds is perfect for your next camping adventure. We welcome solo, family, and group campers on our property.

Fall Colors

Our mostly wooded 100 acre refuge is perfect for witnessing the leaves magnificiently changing color each fall.

No, however at one point we were. A few years back, the diocese decided to shift ownership over to a non-profit group, called Round Hill Inc., which now manages and oversees the operations of Camp Angelus. While we are independent, we enjoy a very supportive relationship from the La Crosse diocese.

Yes – if you are interested in touring our grounds before making a larger commitment for your group, we will happily provide you with a walk through. We have over five acres of usable space, and nearly 100 acres of nature that surrounds us.

We specialize in offering our grounds and services to Catholic groups of all sizes. We have over five acres of usable space and can easily host hundreds of campers (or daily visitors). Additionally, we often welcome families or individuals campers.

No – however you can engage with a local catering provider for meal services. The renovated barn we have on-site is the perfect location for cooking and serving meals. Also, we have numerous fire rings and a large brick oven available for use. 

Aside from the expansive, flat area to camp, we do have two rentable cabins on site; have a large barn that has been converted to rentable space; and portable toilets & wash stations.

Camp Angelus, while purposefully remote, is well-within driving distances from many major cities. We welcome groups from all over the nation, but most frequently we get visitors from the following areas:
